The event has attracted some top names and Salomon sponsored ultra distance trail runner Ryan Sandes who ran his way into the record books winning the Sahara & Gobi Desert 250 km self supporting foot racesmulti in 2008 is teaming up with local all rounder and Team McCain Adventure Addict member Hanno Smit – so definately keep an eye out for this team.

Sedgefield’s Cycleworx and Knysna’s Ultimate Bikes will make sure that any of the last minute bike accessories, or mechanical adjustments required will be taken care of at their shop being set up at the Start/Finish Venue. Can 2008 Pro Winners Andre & Jan in the Men, Martin & Jeannie in the Mixed or Kate & Wendy in the Females all defend their titles or do we have some new kids on the block waiting in the wings to blast onto the scene ?
